1. Open Access Statement
JANHSI provides immediate and unrestricted online access to all published articles. Readers are free to read, download, copy, print, distribute, search, link to, and cite the full text of all articles without prior permission from the publisher or authors, provided that proper attribution is given to the original work.
The journal supports the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) by promoting free access to peer-reviewed scholarly literature for researchers, clinicians, educators, policymakers, and the public worldwide.
2. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain the copyright of their published work.
Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant JANHSI a non-exclusive License to Publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and communicate the published work in all media and formats.

4. Benefits of Open Access

5. Article Processing Charges (APC)
JANHSI applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support editorial management, double-blind peer review, professional copyediting, typesetting, online publication, digital preservation, DOI registration, and long-term maintenance of published articles.
The APC is charged only after a manuscript has successfully passed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication. Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions. Acceptance or rejection of manuscripts is based solely on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
Detailed information regarding current publication fees, payment procedures, and waiver policies is available on the journal's Article Processing Charges (APC) page.
6. Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are encouraged to deposit the published Version of Record in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, and academic networking platforms, provided that appropriate citation to the original publication in JANHSI and its DOI is included.
7. Research Accessibility
JANHSI encourages authors to enhance the transparency and reproducibility of research by sharing datasets, supplementary materials, protocols, software, and other supporting resources whenever ethically, legally, and technically appropriate.
Authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement within their manuscripts whenever applicable.
8. Commitment to Ethical Open Access Publishing
JANHSI is committed to responsible and ethical Open Access publishing. The journal follows the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing and adheres to the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Editorial decisions are made independently and are based exclusively on scientific merit, originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope, regardless of an author's nationality, institutional affiliation, or ability to pay publication charges.
