Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

The Journal of Advanced Nursing and Health Systems Innovation (JANHSI) accepts manuscripts through its Online Submission System. All manuscripts must comply with the Author Guidelines and adhere to the journal’s ethical standards prior to submission.

1. How to Submit

  • Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the official JANHSI template (Microsoft Word format).

  • Submissions must be made electronically via the JANHSI Submission Portal https://dilatraglobalpublishing.com/janhsi/about/submissions or sent via the official journal email dilatraglobaladvisory@gmail.com.

  • The corresponding author is required to create an account in the system to track the progress of the submission.

2. Before You Submit

Please ensure the following:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • All listed authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript.

  • Ethical approval (if required) and conflict of interest statements are clearly provided.

  • The manuscript is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.

  • Figures and tables are embedded within the manuscript and also submitted as separate files:

    • Figures in JPEG or PNG format

    • Tables in Word or Excel format (if needed)

3. Submission Files

Authors must upload the following documents:

  1. Manuscript – Main document (without author information) in Word format

  2. Title Page – Includes full names of authors, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and contact details for the corresponding author

  3. Figures and Tables – Uploaded separately if applicable

  4. Cover Letter – Explains the significance and suitability of the manuscript for JANHSI

  5. Supplementary Materials – Any additional files (e.g., appendices, data sets) if applicable

4. Cover Letter

The cover letter should:

  • Summarize the key findings and contributions of the manuscript

  • Explain why the manuscript is suitable for publication in JANHSI

  • Confirm that the submission is original and free from any ethical misconduct

5. After Submission

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo initial screening by the editorial team.

  • If suitable, the manuscript will proceed to double-blind peer review.

  • Authors can monitor the status of their submission through the online system.

  • The editorial decision (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject) will be communicated via email.
