Author Guidelines
The Journal of Advanced Nursing and Health Systems Innovation (JANHSI) welcomes original, high-quality submissions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the fields of nursing, healthcare, and health systems innovation. Authors are kindly requested to follow the guidelines below before submitting their manuscripts.
1. Manuscript Types
JANHSI accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

Original Research Articles – Empirical studies with a clear methodology and findings.

Review Articles – Systematic or narrative reviews summarizing current evidence.

Case Studies / Case Reports – Practical insights relevant to nursing and health systems.

Short Communications – Concise reports on preliminary findings or innovations.

Conceptual / Theoretical Papers – Critical discussions of models, frameworks, or theories.
2. Manuscript Preparation

Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, academic English.

Length:

Original articles: 4,000–7,000 words (excluding references).
-
Short communications: 1,500–3,000 words.

3. Referencing Style

Use APA 7th edition citation style.

References must be current and relevant (preferably from the last 10 years).

Ensure all cited works are included in the reference list and vice versa.
4. Figures and Tables

Figures must be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi), in JPEG or PNG format.
-
Tables should be clear, concise, and embedded within the manuscript.
-
Each figure and table must include a descriptive title and legend.
5. Ethical Considerations

Research involving human participants must include ethical approval and documented informed consent.
-
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and all sources of funding.
-
Plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate submissions will result in immediate rejection.
6. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically via the JANHSI Online Submission System (or via email, if specified).
-
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
-
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.
7. Open Access Policy
JANHSI is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available online upon publication. Authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).
8. Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is IDR 350,000 (approximately USD 25).
-
Waivers or discounts may be available for authors from low- and middle-income countries.
-
