This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, reproduction, adaptation, and sharing of published work in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the journal.


1. Publication Ethics

The Journal of Advanced Nursing and Health Systems Innovation (JANHSI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity. The journal follows the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing. Authors, reviewers, editors, editorial board members, and the publisher are expected to uphold the principles of honesty, transparency, accountability, fairness, confidentiality, and ethical scholarly publishing throughout the editorial and publication process.


2. Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their published work.

By submitting a manuscript to JANHSI, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive License to Publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, index, and communicate the published work in all media and formats while retaining copyright ownership.

Authors are free to reuse, distribute, and deposit the published version of their work in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other non-commercial and commercial platforms in accordance with the terms of the CC BY 4.0 License.


3. Creative Commons License (CC BY 4.0)

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

Under this license, readers and other users may:

  • Read, download, copy, print, distribute, and share published articles.
  • Adapt, remix, translate, and build upon the published work.
  • Use the published material for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.
  • Reuse the published content provided that appropriate attribution is given to the original author(s) and JANHSI.

4. Author Responsibilities

By submitting a manuscript to JANHSI, authors confirm that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published previously.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All listed authors have made substantial scholarly contributions to the work.
  • All authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript before submission.
  • Ethical approval and informed consent have been obtained where applicable.
  • All funding sources and potential conflicts of interest have been fully disclosed.
  • Permission has been obtained for any copyrighted material reproduced within the manuscript.

5. Research Integrity

JANHSI has zero tolerance for publication misconduct, including but not limited to:

  • Plagiarism
  • Self-plagiarism
  • Duplicate submission
  • Redundant publication
  • Data fabrication
  • Data falsification
  • Image manipulation
  • Citation manipulation
  • Fake authorship
  • Ghost authorship
  • Gift authorship
  • Peer-review manipulation

All allegations of research misconduct will be investigated in accordance with the recommendations and guidance provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).


6. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

Authors must disclose the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the preparation of their manuscripts whenever applicable.

Artificial intelligence systems, including generative AI tools, cannot be listed as authors because they cannot assume responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, originality, or accountability of scholarly work.

Authors remain fully responsible for all content submitted to JANHSI.


7. Digital Preservation

JANHSI is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of published scholarly content.

The journal supports recognized digital preservation services, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and may participate in additional archiving systems such as LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, where applicable.


8. Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern

When significant errors, ethical concerns, or research misconduct are identified after publication, JANHSI will publish corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern in accordance with internationally accepted publication ethics and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).


9. Disclaimer

The opinions, interpretations, and conclusions expressed in published articles are solely those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Editors, Editorial Board, Publisher, or affiliated institutions.

JANHSI and its publisher assume no responsibility for errors, omissions, or any consequences arising from the use of information contained in published articles.

All published articles are immediately and permanently available online without subscription or access charges.
