Oncology Network for Comprehensive Outcomes (ONCO) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Dilatra Global Publishing. Launched in 2026, this digital journal is dedicated to advancing the science and practice of supportive cancer care, oncology nursing, health systems management, and healthcare informatics.
The primary objective of ONCO is to provide an evidence-based platform that connects human care delivery, organizational reliability, and digital technology to drive measurable improvements in patient-centered cancer outcomes.
The scope of ONCO includes, but is not limited to:
- Oncology Nursing Practice & Supportive Care: Symptom management, palliative care, psycho-oncology, and patient- and family-centered interventions.
- Patient Outcomes & Quality of Life: Evaluation of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), Patient-Reported Experience Measures (PREMs), and care delivery effectiveness.
- Health Systems & Risk Management: Implementation of High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles, hospital risk taxonomy, infection prevention and control, and nursing leadership.
- Oncology Nursing Informatics & Digital Health: Integration of Electronic Health Records (EHR), assessment of technostress and healthcare provider workload, tele-oncology implementation, and mHealth solutions.
Scope Boundaries (What We Publish vs. What We Do Not Publish)
To ensure a sharp scientific identity, ONCO enforces strict boundaries regarding its domain:
- In Scope: Interventions, frameworks, and evaluations centered on nursing care delivery, symptom management, patient safety, healthcare leadership, risk management, health economics/policy, and digital health/informatics within cancer care settings.
- Out of Scope (Excluded): Direct pharmacological clinical trials, novel drug development, surgical techniques, radiation biology, and basic bench-top/pre-clinical cancer biology research.

1. Advanced Oncology Nursing & Supportive Care
- Focus: Specialized nursing practice, evidence-based symptom management, toxicity monitoring, psycho-oncology, palliative care, and survivorship planning.
- Context in Oncology: While medical therapies target the tumor, oncology nursing directly addresses the human response to cancer and its treatment. 2. Patient-Centered Outcomes & Quality of Life (QoL)
